Answered Prayers and Blessings

Hola!!!!!!!! 

This week was greatly filled with random little things!! It started off perfect with the temple!!  I have such a strong love for the temple!!!!  I am so grateful to be a member of this church and be able to go to the temple and feel of the strong spirit there!! 

Tuesday and Wednesday Hermana Chineppe had to take care of visa paperwork and so I spent Tuesday and Wednesday morning in the mission office studying with another Hermana whose companion was doing visa paperwork with Hermana Chineppe.  One of the Hermanas that we live with has been sick this week and so we have been on lots of divisons this week getting work done in both of our areas.  Well getting work done in our ward.  Our ward is split between us two companionships.  It is so great!!! 

Yesterday Hermana Chineppe and I got to church and we did not have one investigator, not one less active, and not one recent convert that we are working with there with us.  I was a little sick about this. People had told us that they were planning on coming but yesterday it rained hard all day.  Anyway I was a little sick about this and was praying and praying and praying.  All of a sudden Hermana Chineppe gets excited and tells me that one of our investigators just showed up!!!  It was after the sacrament but we ended up having one investigator!!  I prayed after and thanked Heavenly Father for this blessing.  I prayed that this investigator would be able to feel the spirit as the speakers were speaking.  All of the speakers spoke about baptism and keeping the commandments!!  I was so extremely grateful!!!  He is going to get baptized, he just doesn’t know it yet;)  Jajajaja he is reading and praying and now coming to church.  The only thing is his job might be a problem.  It’s difficult to explain.  We have an investigator that we are praying will be baptized here this Sunday or next, but we will see. 

Ok so I did read the letter you sent me to open on my Hump Day and I cried!!!  (We sent her a copy of the Father’s Blessing her dad gave her just before she was set apart as a missionary).  I was so happy!!  I LOVED everything in it. Especially about Kazen.  I have felt him every day for 9 months it’s pretty cool.  And I feel him pushing me on my back every day to keep me going.  I don’t remember if I told you but at the temple in the row of chairs there was me and Hermana Chineppe and then two empty chairs.  But I KNOW they weren’t empty because Kazen and her brother were there with us!!!!!  (Hermana Chineppe’s brother also passes away 17 years ago).

Heavenly Father answers our prayers. He knows us and He LOVES us!!!  I LOVE this gospel and know that it is true!!!

Home Stretch!

Hola!!!!!! 

This week was a great week!!!  Nothing big happened but it was a great week!!!!!  We went to the temple yesterday!!!!!  It was so great!!!!  The spirit was so strong!!!!  I LOVE the temple!!  It is a place where we can truly forget about our worries and concerns and feel peace and the love our Heavenly Father has for us.  The spirit was so strong yesterday!!  I felt so much peace!!  It was such an energy booster to be able to attend the temple!!  I know the temple is the house of our Heavenly Father!! It truly is heaven on earth!!  I am so grateful for the temple!!  I am grateful to be a member of this church that is able to go to the temple!!! 

After the temple we had a family home evening as a mission!!  The spirit was so strong!!  A few of the missionaries shared with us their conversion stories and how their journey to becoming a member of this church.  A few of them had only been a member for 2 years at the time they sent in their mission papers!!  The spirit was so strong as they bore their testimonies!!  A group of us closed Family Home Evening with a special musical number (it’s great to see she is still using her talent to sing).  I am sorry I didn’t take a video.

Tomorrow is my HUMP DAY!!!  It means that time is moving WAY to fast!!!  I knew it would go by fast I just didn’t realize THIS fast!!!!!!!!  It goes by WAY fast.  And I know starting tomorrow it will just speed up now that I am on the home stretch.  We are going to celebrate with ICE CREAM.  But we might do it on Thursday because Hermana Chineppe will have 4 months on Friday so we are thinking we are going to celebrate with ice cream together for both of us together.  

Did you know if you look at our house on google earth, dad’s truck is outside and the garage door is open?  Jajajajajajajajaajajaja.  One day members wanted to see where I was from, so we pulled it up and that is what we saw. 

I know this church is true!!  I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us so much!!  I LOVE the book of Mormon and I know that it is true!!

Temple Blessings!

Wow!!   This week was an event here in Hurlingham!!!  A family from our ward  that. was baptized about a year ago was sealed this week!!!  They are sealed as an eternal family!!!  It was so neat to be apart of!!  We did't get to go to the temple but we were at the church after the sealing when they showed up to a surprise party that the ward had for them after!!  It was so neat!!  They were so excited!!  

Also this week I have had an awful cold and so the night before the sealing our bishop and the hermano that was sealed gave me a blessing!!  It was such a neat experience as they both participated and gave me a blessing!!  

I am so grateful for this gospel!!  I am so grateful for the temple!!  The temple will be leaving our mission and now will be in the South mission and so we all get to go to the temple next Monday before it leaves our mission the end of this transfer!!  I have been dying of excitment!!  There are no words to describe my feelings for the temple there is such a spirit there!!   I LOVE the temple and know that it is the house of the Lord!!!  I LOVE this gospel!!  Love and miss you all lots and lots and lots!!!

LOVED the Package!!!

Wow!!!!  This week was super great and it is just going to get better!!!!!!  I have a new companion!!!  Her name is Hermana Chineppe and she is from Uraguay!!  She only is 3 months in her mission!!!  This is only her second area!!    She already has so much experience!!  She is so great!!  She has already helped me so much!!  I am so excited to be companions with her!!  She is so great and we are going to see miracles together I am sure!!!  She is helping me so much with my Spanish and I am helping her with her English!!  So we are both helping each other it is great!!!  I’m senior companion.  I have NO idea what I am doing but I am praying REALLY hard!!!  I am a little scared.  It will be great though!!  I have already learned so much!!!  I just hope I can do it!! 

Well other than transfers this week was another week!!  I am learning so much!!  I am so grateful for everything I am learning!!!  I also LOVED the package that I received from everyone!!  Thank you so much!!  It was such a great surprise after a little bit of a rough week last week!!  Everything that could have happened in a week happened!!!!!  SATAN!!!!!!!  Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky, sneaky, SATAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I felt so much love and support here in Argentina from the U.S.!!  Jajajajajaja thank you everyone so much!!!  Ummmm, you guys have no idea about the package!!!!  Ok well I LOVED everything and you really have to know that!!!!  I LOVED everything!!!!!  I LOVED the letters!!!  Rachael sent me two pencil drawn pics of Bro Bangerter with Christ!!!  It touched me so much and she sent me pics of little Libby and a bookmark that was Bro Bangerter’s!!  It just touched me so much how thoughtful she was and the couple of precious things to her that she sent to me!!!  But thank you SO much!!!!!!!!  I am so grateful!!!!!!!!!!  I LOVE you all WAY more than words can say!!!!  The package really helped me after a little bit of a rough week!!!!!! 

Well you see the thing is I have pics!!!  I have a pic of me with all of the things from the package and I have another one because I used the bag from the Pays and I wanted to show them that I used it yesterday to go to church...and I forgot my card reader so.......... .( :( :( :( :( :( :(  I am so mad at myself!!!!!!!

We have investigators but none of them are progressing.  We are really focusing on them to help them progress.  We have M…. and C…., a family that we are teaching and they aren’t getting married until December so we are visiting them but they can’t get baptized until after they are married. 

We have L…. and she is super great!!  She is on her second time reading the Book of Mormon but she works on Sundays.  And so she can’t get baptized until she comes to church so we are trying to help her find work. 

We have L…. and he has a date for the 27 but he didn’t come to church yesterday so we will see if he can get baptized. 

We have J…. and I really don’t understand what is going on with him. We are trying to figure him out. 

And N…..  He lives in a hospital and he has a date for the 27 and he is great and I really think that he will get baptized so we will see. 

I’m so excited for Megan (Warburton)!!  Wow, Ecuador!!  That is super neat!!!!  Has Chelsea got her call yet?  My guess t. Lauderdale, Jajajajajaja!  JK, but that would be really funny!!!  Can’t wait to hear where the Lord wants her to serve.

I know that this church is true!!  I know that Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ live and love us more than we can imagine!!  I know that they know us each personally and answer our prayers!!  I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet called to open this dispensation for us!!  I am grateful to him!!  I know that Pres Thomas S. Monson is or prophet today!!!  I am so grateful for this gospel!!  I know that it is true!!  I know that the Book of Mormon is true!!  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!

Power of the Priesthood

Hola,

Well I have to admit!!  NOTHING happened this week!!! Ok well somethings happened but anyway…  We had five baptismal dates scheduled for last Saturday and they all fell through!!  It was a little bit of a rough week.  But that’s ok.

Mostly this week was just filled with getting Hermana Hale prepared to leave to go home!!  She served a great mission and I know the Lord is so proud of her service!!!  She is definitely the missionary I want to be!!  She is so great!!!  She left for the mission home last night, so I’m with the two sisters that I live with and we are serving in my ward until I get my new companion on Wednesday!

This week I am so overly grateful for worthy priesthood holders!!  I am grateful for the power that they hold to bless our lives individually!!  I am grateful for the power of the priesthood, the power that it has to heal, protect, and comfort in time of need!!  I had the opportunity to witness someone receive a blessing and watch how quickly she felt better after.  I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ!!!  I am grateful to know that they are always with us!!  That we are always guided and protected!!  I am grateful for the Plan of Salvation!!  I was super sad to hear about the passing of a prophet this week!!  But we are so blessed to know where he and our loved ones are once they pass from this life!!  I am so grateful to know that they continue to live and to be with us when we need them!!  I am so grateful for this gospel in my life!! I know that this gospel is the true gospel of Jesus Christ and that he is our Savior and Redeemer!!  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots!!!!!!!
