These Feet Were Made for Walking!

This week was INCREDIBLE!!!!!  It has been one of the most sacred weeks of my entire mission!!!  It started on Sunday when we had training from the sisters who go around the whole mission training sisters on how we can teach better and help our investigators!!!  The training was so great and we got to do lots of practices with them on the Restoration.  Then they came to Atalaya Friday night until Sunday night.  Hermana Wiborny and I were on divisions Friday night until Sunday night working in different parts of our area.  It was INCREDIBLE!!!!  We found so many new investigators and people that we can go back and teach!!!  We were able to do A LOT of practices with them and help us be able to teach better and more simply so that our investigators will be able to understand the Restoration!!!  It was so helpful for us and SO incredible!!!!!

If I send you pictures of my feet you can NOT freak out.  I WILL live. No its fine.  No it doesn’t hurt at all...  I want to paint them so I don’t see how gross they look but I don’t think that is a good idea either.  I am worried when we get rained on, I feel really gross knowing that I have fungus under my nails and their ugly... I talked to the nurse back in October.  She said that it is something I would just have to take care of at home and that I would be fine until then...
Thank you for the big package.  It starts today!!!!!  The Elders are going to give it to me again today, because it came in a big box and the Elders didn’t think it was a good idea for two young girls to be walking home with big boxes because Hermana Wiborny got one too and so they took them from us and we are going to get them from them today.  (We were able to find a company in Argentina that sent her a Christmas package… it’s the Twelve Days of Christmas).

Thanks to the YW for all of the love and support!!!!!!  I loved receiving the envelope from themJ
I know that this church is true!!!  I LOVE this gospel.  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ live and love us SO much and want us to be happy and have joy in this life.  I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that is a tool our Heavenly Father has given us to become more like him and to have joy and happiness in this life.  I LOVE the Book of Mormon and the example that are there for us to learn from.  I LOVE this gospel!!!  I miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!

A Child's Prayer

I had such a great experience yesterday in church!!!!!!!!!  In my ward right now us missionaries represent 4 different countries which means 4 different languages!!!!!  It is so neat!!!  We represent Germanay, Colombia, Brazil, and the United States!!!  Well so we decided to do something.  We sang A Childs Prayer in sacrament meeting!!!  We sang the first verse in spanish all the way through.  The second verse we broke up all of the different phrases and each of us took a phrase and sang in our native langugae!!!  I felt the spirit so strong!!!

We are struggling having contact with all our investigators right now.  I am praying so hard!!!!!  We schedule appointments with them and they are not there when we get there :(

The church is true!!!!  It was so neat!!!  It is incredible to me to think about how many of us there are as missionaries and in how many different countries we are in and how many different languages we are called to learn.  I LOVE this gospel!!!  The church is true!!!!!!  The work of the Lord is rolling forth!!!  I LOVE this gospel!!!!  I am so grateful for the blessing of having this gospel in my life!!!!  I know that my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ live and love us SO much!!!  I know that they know each one of us individually!!  I know that this church is the church of Jesus Christ at the he stands at the head.  I know that our Prophet, Pres Thomas S. Monson is who speaks for him on the earth today.  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!!!

Opening Atalaya B is Great!!!

Wow this week has been a super great week!!!!  It all starts on Tuesday when the Elders in our ward contacted a family that lives in our area!!!  They are a really great and special family!!!  They moved here to Argentina about a month ago from Hawaii!!!  The mom is from here and they decided to move back for school!!!  The kid’s don’t speak a ton of Spanish so we are teaching them in English!!!  It has definitely been an experience teaching in my native tongue.

I LOVE this gospel!!!  It is incredible to me how many languages we as missionaries learn to be sure that our Heavenly Father’s children learn the gospel in their native language!!!  It’s incredible!!!!!!!  We were also able to do service for this family Friday morning.  There was lots of dust and the mom was feeling a little sick and so we went and dusted everything in the house!!  It was such a experience being able to help this family out so much this week!!!

Well we still are trying to find the people here who have been prepared for us to find.  It is an incredible adventure opening up Atalaya B!!!  I really like the ward it’s really great!!!  They haven’t had sisters for about 6 months and a lot of members supposedly have been praying for sisters.  There is a lot of excitement for us!!!  I have to be patient with myself because I don’t know everyone yet but it will all be ok.

Read Moroni 8:1-3.  It’s a scripture that I found in the MTC that helps me A LOT through the week.  But as you read it when it says Mormon put Cameron when it says Moroni put Karina and when it says my beloved son put my beloved daughter.  You WILL cry!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that with our Heavenly Father at our side we can do anything!!!  I know the He and our Savior Jesus Christ live and love us way more than we can imagine.  I know that they know us each so personally!!!  I know that the Book of Mormon is true!!!  I know that this church is true and I LOVE it!!!  I LOVE being a missionary!!!  I LOVE and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!

Flash Transfer - Fifth Area

Hola!

Friday - "Well Hermaninta are you ready to go and baptize someone today? Lets go!!!!!"  ring, ring, ring, ring "Hermana it’s the assistant. "  "Hola!" "Hello Hermana Kent it’s the assistants, we are calling to tell you and Hermana Wiborny that you two will be having a flash today and be going to Atalaya to open up Atalaya B.  Start packing and we will be there shortly to pick you two up to take you both to your new area."  Well that’s right!!!  Friday afternoon Hermana Wiborny and I left Haedo and are now in Atalaya opening up an area where there haven’t been Hermanas for about 6 months!!!  Just elders in this ward.  I am way excited about this task that Heavenly Father has given to us and the confidence He has put in us to open this area.  Oh it has been a crazy week trying to learn the area and get to know people and find a house for us two!!!  We are living with other sisters who live like 10 or 15 min from our area until we can find something.  We have appointments tomorrow to walk through two apartments with the missionary couple who are in charge of the apartments.  This area is poor.  I don’t know how poor.  It is definitely NOT like Haedo.  EVERYONE in Haedo had a ton of money.  I am really excited for this area.

I can NOT believe that this is already my fifth area and that this month will complete 14 months in the mission and that in two days I will have officially been in Argentina for 1 year!!!  The time is so fast and I am so grateful for all of the experiences I have had so far in my mission.  The week started out super great!!!  Tuesday we had the opportunity to have special trainings and interviews with President Robertson!!!  I love going to special trainings and interviews!!  I always feel the spirit so strong and I am always so excited to apply the different things that we are taught!!!

I feel like the mission has really helped me.  I mean I am NOT Argentine and can talk for two hours straight.  I am still very observant and don’t have to talk every second but I feel like a talk more than before.   I LOVE being a missionary!!! I know that this church is true!!!  I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live.  I know that they know us each individually and love us so much!!! I know they know what is best for us and will answer our prayers!!  I LOVE and miss all of you lots and lots and lots and lots!!!

Following Promptings

Wow this week was such a great week!!!  It started out as normal but with divisions!!!  I went and worked in another area on Tuesday and our sister training leader came and worked in Haedo with Hermana Wiborny!!  It was fun to get to know another area for a day!!!  Okay Friday!!!!  Friday as we were leaving to go work the sister who was going to give us food called and asked if we could come at 12:30.  I thought oh know now we don't have time to go and visit this less active sister who I just love and adore and want to help so much come to church and feel the love that our Savior has for her.  I told Hermana Wiborny we were going to get off the bus a little earlier than normal and work a little closer to our lunch appointment because we didn't have a lot of time to work.  After I said that I was at war with myself.  We hadn't seen her for a couple weeks and she told us that it is best to come Fridays in the mornings.  I thought ok if we walk fast we can make it and at least tell her hi and invite her to church and see if there is anything we could do for.  At least just to have contact for her.  I asked Hermana Wiborny "Do you think we can walk fast?"  She said yes.  I said "Ok we are going to get off where we normally get off than."  We ran to her house and were able to have a 20 min lesson with her about the sacrament.  We invited her to church and we made plans to call her in the morning and guess what???  She came to church!!!!!  I could tell she loves being back and reconnecting with the members and feeling the spirit!!!!  She told us after the meetings thank you very much for inviting me and that it was an answer to her prayers that we came on Fri!!!

I was so happy that we were able to follow the spirit this week and able to visit this Sister!!!  I felt that every talk and lesson that we had on Sunday was just for her!!!  It was AMAZING!!!!!!!  The spirit was so strong!!!!  I LOVE being a missionary and being able to follow the spirit and help those who are thirsty for the gospel!!!  I LOVE when I can feel I have done what the Lord wanted me to do!!!  I know that this church is true!!!  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior live and love us way more than we can understand!!!  I know that they are here to help us!!!  I know that the Book of Mormon is true and can help us become like our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

Love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!!

Families Are Forever!

Well this week Hermana Wiborny and I had another week in the work of the Lord!!!!!!!  Last Sunday we had a family in our ward invite one of their friends to church and this friend of theirs came!!!  We asked her if we could come to her house and we had two super great lessons with her this week about the Plan of Salvation and the Restoration!!!  She is super great and Hermana Wiborny and I are praying that she has been prepared by the Lord to accept His gospel into her life.  She shared yesterday in one of the classes that she has studied a few different religions but none of them have made an impact like this one has.  Well that would be because it is TRUE!!!!!!

She is our only investigator right now.  I am trying to have patience and not get frustrated!!!!   Yes it is all in the Lords hands!!!!
Yes they made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Omi’s dried apples made it!!!!  I have NO idea how but they made it!!!!!!  Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for the things you gave to my companion.  Also thank you for the things for Hermana Chineppe!!!  She will LOVE it!!!!  I am so sad my necklace broke with my faith seed.  I wasn’t expecting that you would send me one too!!!!  It made me happy!!!  And then I realized that it was already broken and I was sad:((((  But that’s ok I have my sister necklace!!!!!  I have worn my sister necklace EVERYDAY since!!!!!!!!!

Ok and I feel REALLY bad!!!!  Yesterday was mother’s day here in Argentina so I made you mother’s day video but it is too long and so I can’t send it :(  I’m sending Kensington’s birthday video here in a minute to her.
Read it. Live it. LOVE it!!!  Because this gospel is SO great!!!!!!!!
This gospel is TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!  I LOVE this gospel and I know that it is true!!!  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ stand at the head of it!!  I know that President Thomas S. Monson is their servant here upon the earth to help us understand their will!!!  I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us way more than we can understand.  I know that they live!!!  I know that the Book of Mormon is true and is the word of God!!!  I LOVE reading it and know how I can be a better person and being able to be closer to the spirit by reading it.  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!

I Love Being a Missionary!

First off!!!!  I have a new companion!!!  Her name is Hermana Wiborny and she is from...wait for it...wait for it... wait for it... wait for it... wait for it...  Germany!!!!!  My companion is from Frankfurt, German!!!  (Karina’s grandpa served in Frankfurt, Germany and was born in Bremen, Germany).  I am so excited to be working with her.  We are going to see miracles I know it!!!!!  I am so excited to be working with her.  She only has 4 months in her mission.  She is so great and already knows how to do things!!!

At the beginning of this transfer our mission started to read the Book of Mormon together.  We were able to finish this Wednesday together during our transfer meeting.  That’s right we finished the Book of Mormon in only 41 days.  It was an experience to be able to finish it together.  I LOVE the Book of Mormon.  I know that it is the word of God and that it is true and that by reading it and living the teachings that it teaches us we can become more like our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ.  I know that it was translated by the prophet Joseph Smith.

Ok btw you have to email or fb Andrew Briggs and tell him that his convert Carina is in my ward!!!  We just put it together on Friday!!!!  I about DIED of laughter!!!  He baptized her when he served here.  We were going to take a pic yesterday for him but she left before we were able to so.....
Well other than the excitement of receiving a new companion and finishing the Book of Mormon it was another week in the work of the Lord.  We walked a lot this week trying to contact people and trying to find people who the Lord has prepared to receive His gospel at this time in their lives.  I LOVE being a missionary and getting to know people.  I LOVE being a missionary and constantly striving to have the spirit with me!!  I LOVE being a missionary.  I know that this church is true!!!  I know that our Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ live and love us and are with us in the good time and the hard times the happy times and the sad times.  I know that they live to comfort us and help us on our way when we can’t go on anymore.  I LOVE this gospel and know that it is true!!!!!!

I wanted to share something I read today from my patriarchal blessing: "You are a chosen daughter of God and He has entrusted you to the care of loving parents to be taught the gospel of Jesus Christ to live His teachings and to accept His atoning sacrifice."
Thanks for being my parents!!!!  I LOVE you both WAY more than words can say!!!!!!  I LOVE you both!!!  Ich liebe dich!!!!!  I love and miss all of you lots and lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!

Con amor!!!!!

I LOVE General Conference!!!

Wow wasn’t conference so great!!!  I LOVE general conference SO much!!  I LOVE being able to hear these men speak to us and to hear what our Heavenly Father has prepared for us to hear through his servants!!  I LOVE this gospel!!!  What a tribute that they all made to Elder Perry, Pres Packer and Elder Scott.  I will miss these three a lot but what an experience it was so be able to sustain 3 new apostles the last general conference on my mission.  I LOVE being a missionary!!  I LOVE our prophet and apostles!!!  Ok to be honest I am really kind of sad.  I don’t like watching it in Spanish.  It has been so hard not to hear their voices for a year.  I didn’t realize how much just their voices fill me.  But there was a spirit.  I am really struggling that these three apostles have moved on in the plan of salvation because these three I really loved!!!  So I am struggling a little bit.  I cried a lot when I saw their three seats empty and then I cried a lot when President Nelson started to cry because I am sure their hearts hurt so much because I am sure all those men really truly are best friends and love each other.  So my heart really hurt for them.  It was a shock to see Mrs. Wadley.  I told people that she was my teacher and it was fun to see her!!!

I didn’t realize before my mission how small of a word faith is but how important it is. Faith is HUGE and I need to develop more faith.  You both are HUGE examples to me of faith and every aspect of the gospel!!!!!!!  Thank you for everything!!!  Thank you for all you both continue to do for me.  I RELLY LOVE you both A LOT!!!!  You both are always there for me and helping me with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
Well we received a call last night from our zone leaders and I will be receiving a new companion this Wednesday.  I am sad to see Hermana Dayes leave but I am so excited for this new transfer and for a new companion to learn from and to see the blessings that our Heavenly Father has prepared for my new companion and I this transfer!!

I know that this gospel is true.  I LOVE this gospel is true!!  I know that we have a prophet named Pres Thomas S. Monson who leads and guides us today.  I know that he has been called of God.  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ live and love us way more than our human minds can comprehend.  I know that they know each of us individually.  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!!

Finished the Book of Mormon in Spanish!

This week was such a great week here in Argentina!!!! Not anything out of the ordinary happened but it was a great week!!!  Hermana Dayes and I had divisions this week with our sister training leaders!!!  We were able to contact so many great people and talk with EVERYONE!!!  That is something I learned to do better is talk with EVERYONE with the sister that I worked with.

We found another family this week.  V1… and R….  They are so great!!!!  The missionaries were working with them like two years ago.  I am so excited to work with them.  They I think seem so great!!!  We don’t know a ton about them yet.  But they are going to be great!!!!!!!

V2… kind of dropped us and we dropped two others this week.  So all we have right now is V1… and R….  But this week we have lots of plans to talk to EVERYONE and find more!!!!!!!

I haven’t seen the women’s conference and probably won’t see it just read it maybe.  :(  I actually didn’t realize it until this morning that it would have been sat night.  Jajajajajajaja.  That’s pretty cool that it was filmed in our church house and about people in our stake.

I LOVE being a missionary and being able to get to know people.  Also we had a family home evening Sat night with a family in our ward who has two young kids.  It was so much fun.  Hermana Dayes and I shared s little lesson on prayer and were able to bear our testimonies about prayer.  Then, as we left we were able to pray with this family for the people who they are praying for.  The spirit was so strong.

I know that our Heavenly Father hears our prayers.  I know that he answers our prayers.  I know that sometimes our prayers aren’t answered in the way that we want, but they are always answered in His time and in the way that will be best for us.

And... because I completed a year in my mission on Thursday it was that time to finish the Book of Mormon.  I FINISHED reading the Book of Mormon is Spanish.  I know that it true.  I know that it is able to draw us closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and help us be more like them.  I know that it was translated by the prophet Joseph Smith.  I know that he was a prophet of God.  I know that we have a prophet of God today named Thomas S. Monson.  I am beyond excited to hear from him and the apostles of Christ in less than a week!!!!  I LOVE this gospel and know that it is true!!!!!

Love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!!!

Well this week was another great week here in Argentina!!!!!  We had Elder Teixeira from the 70 and his wife come and visit our mission this week!!  It was such a neat experience!!  They spoke a lot about finding people and the companionship!!  We all really felt the spirit during the meeting!!  I had the opportunity to sing in a small hermanas choir!!  We sang “I Know that My Redeemer Lives” in Spanish.  It was so neat!!!  We than all got to say hello and meet him and his wife as we left the meeting!!  It was so neat!!

Saturday night we had another Capilla Abierta!!  It was at a church in our zone that we got to go and help!!  It was so much fun I LOVE capilla abiertas!!  We also had a lesson this week that was so great with an investigator that we have!!  We taught her the restoration and about the Book of Mormon!!  The spirit was so strong in this lesson.  She had a few questions for us and we were able to answer them!!!  This was our second lesson with her and at the end of this lesson with her we asked her if she could offer the closing prayer.  She said YES!!!  It was a beautiful prayer and she finished in the name of our Savior!!!  I LOVE when these experiences happen!!  I LOVE when our investigators pray!!!!  Prayer is an incredible gift that we get to be able to talk to our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

I know that this church is true!!  I know that it is the church of Jesus Christ that was restored by Him through the prophet Joseph Smith.  I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God.  I know that we have a prophet today, Thomas S. Monson.  I am so excited for the opportunity we have to hear from him in just about two weeks!!  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ live and love us way more than our human minds can comprehend!!  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots!!!!

With a new area comes lots of different things!!!  I am in an area that is very city and so Hermana Dayes and I are trying really hard to find more people like our friend who was baptized yesterday to help bring them unto Chirst!!  I really love my new area though!!  There are great members here in Haedo!!  I LOVE being a missionary!!!  We were able find and teach a family this week!!  Hermana Dayes and I are praying really hard for them that they have been prepared by the Lord to accept the gospel in their lives!!  They are really great and we are really excited to get to know them more and teach them!!

I LOVE this gospel and I know that it is true!!  I am so grateful for this gospel in my life!!  I can’t imagine my life without it!!  There is such a peace that comes from the knowledge that we are blessed to have and that we know where we came from, why we are here on earth, why we pass through hard times, and where we are going after this life!!  I LOVE this gospel!!  I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live!!  I know that they love us way more than our human minds can comprehend and that they are always there to help us!! I know that they know us personally!!  I know that they can become our best friends if we let them!!  I LOVE the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true!!  I know that it was written by prophets of God and was translated by Joseph Smith who was a prophet of God called to restore his church here upon the earth today that we could enjoy the blessing of having it in our lives!!  I know that our prophet today is Thomas S. Monson who is called of God to receive revelation for us today!!  I know that these things are true!!!  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots!!!

This week other than transfers nothing has really happened!!  Monday and Tuesday were filled with goodbyes which were not easy.  Wednesday was filled with nerves and nerves and nerves and nerves!!!!  Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday were filled with learning this new area and getting to know the new leaders that I will now be working with.  Saturday night we had a ward activity that was filled with lots and lots of games and fun!!  It was really great to get to know the ward because yesterday we had an area conference.  A lot of the speakers talked about keeping the Sabbath Day holy.  I have learned in my mission how important this is!!!  There is such a spirit in keeping the Sabbath Day holy.  When we keep this commandment we are blessed more than we can imagine!!!

Oh The Places I'll Go in Argentina!!

Well last night was the night we received the call that would tell us if we will be having changes or not.  Turns out my time here in Hurlingham is finishing and I am on to my 4th area to learn what I need to learn there and to learn what I need to learn from my next companion.  I have LOVED Hurlingham!!  I am so grateful for my time here and for everything I have learned in this area and the things I have learned from Hermana Hale and Hermana Chineppe while here in Hurlingham.

Today I complete 11 months!!  The time has gone by so fast.  I LOVE being a missionary.  It has been the best 11 months of my life.  There have been ups and downs and twists and turns but I have changed so much and learned so much.  This week we had trainings.  One of the trainings we had was about using the Book of Mormon.  I LOVE the Book of Mormon.  I know that it is true.  I know that if we read it we can become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.  I know that is the keystone to our religion.  I know that it was translated by the prophet Joseph Smith.  I know that it is true.  I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet called by our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ to restore this gospel here upon the earth today.

I LOVE this gospel and I know that it is true.  I know that our prophet today is Thomas S. Monson.  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ live.  I know that they love us each individually.  I know that they love us way more than we can imagine.  I know that when we obey the commandments and the covenants we have made with them they are able to pour blessings upon us.  I know that this gospel is true.  I LOVE this gospel.  I LOVE this gospel and I LOVE this gospel.   I cannot imagine my life without this gospel.   I am so grateful for my time as a missionary to be able to serve our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots and lots!!!!!

Con mucho amor,

Hermana Kent

Birthday Surprises!

Well this week was such a great week!!!!  I got to go back to Caseros for a day!!!  We had divisions this week with the sisters who work there and well off I went to Caseros!!  It was such a humbling experience to be back there after 10 months and reflect on the progress I have made these 10 months reguarding the language, my teaching abililty, and as a person!!  I have changed so much since I was first there.

This week we had a miracle!!!  We went to visit a family who is less active and when we went we found a family who also is less active who are wanting to start coming to church again.  The wife has a little sister living with them that is not a member but wants to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.  I LOVE being a missionary and seeing miracles like this everyday!!

We also have an investigator that we are working with that came to church on Sunday.  He is progressing and we continue to pray for him.

Ummmmm how did you get a birthday package here?????????  I don't have any pictures yet because I haven't opened it and I was out voted to open it the other night and so my companion and roommates all hid it from me until Friday!  Ugggghhhhhhh between you two and Hermana Chineppee there are WAY too many surprises!!!!!!!  I cant handle it!!!  I am my mother's daughter!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you EVERYONE for the birthday wishes!!!  There were so many that I did not get to respond to you all, but I am so grateful for all the love and support that you show me.

I know this church is true.  I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us very much!!  I know that they know what is happening in our lives and that we can pray and ask for help from them to keep moving from day to day.  I LOVE this gospel!!  I LOVE and miss everyone very much!!

Thank you EVERYONE for the birthday wishes!!!  There were so many that I did not get to respond to you all, but I am so grateful for all the love and support that you show me.

My Joy Is Indescribable!!!

Wow!!

This week was filled with emotions!!!  Our Querido Amigo got baptized on Saturday and was confirmed a member the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!!!  It was such a neat experience!!  There aren’t words to describe my joy for our Querido Amigo!!  Hermana Chineppe and I visited him a lot this week and he truly was prepared to enter the waters of baptism Saturday night.  Hermana Chineppe and I got to sing “When I am Baptized” at the baptism for him.  We sang the first verse in English and sang again the first verse and the second verse in Spanish.  It was such a neat experience.  My joy is indescribable to have been able to help this friend come unto Christ.  I am so grateful for this experience that Hermana Chineppe and I shared together.  The most spiritual part was right after he was confirmed yesterday he came back to sit with Hermana Chineppe and I and as soon as he sat down he turned to us and said, "Muchas Gracias Hermanas!"  I was stunned!!  I was so joyful with this response.
Tell little Samantha to put a sticker on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell her that this sticker is Hermana Kent’s favorite convert so this sticker means a lot!!!!!!!!!  (We have a chart for Hermana Kent that keeps track of her days serving and events that take place.  Samantha is our little neighbor who just loves to look at the chart every time she is over).

I know that this church is true!!  I know that our Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father live and love each and every one of us.  I know that they know us individually.  I LOVE this gospel.  I LOVE this opportunity I have to be a missionary.  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots!!!!

How Great Shall Be Your Joy!

Hola!

This week was such a sacred week again.  We worked a lot with our investigator “M” who is getting baptized this week.  Hermana Chineppe and I are so beyond excited for him.  He is so great and prepared.  There is a story that I have been told that there were two men in heaven.  They both received white envelopes with "mission calls" to come to earth.  In one of them it said that the person would be born in the church and into a loving family and other blessings.  In the envelope of his friend it said that he would not have the blessing of the gospel in his life.  His friend who would be born in the gospel said to "don’t worry my friend, I will find you and I will teach you the gospel."  Hermana Chineppe and I have felt very strongly for a couple of weeks now that “M” was a dear friend of ours before we all came here and that we told him we would find him.  There are no words even close to describe my joy.  It’s not even happiness, it’s JOY!!!

I LOVE being a missionary.  I LOVE this gospel.  I LOVE that I get to share this great blessing with others.  I know that this gospel is true!!!  I know that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ live.  I love and miss you all lots and lots and lots!!!!!!

Con mucho amor,

Hermana Kent
This is what we look like when our hearts are full of JOY!
